Hydrofend outperforms uncoated fabrics with as much as six times greater water repellency while still maintaining breathability. The marine fabric is made with solution-dyed polyester for outdoor protection and fade resistance. Built to tackle demanding applications, Hydrofend has a high break strength, tear strength, and double rub count. The proprietary solvent coating on the back of the boat fabric blocks moisture, protects surfaces from abrasion, and helps prevent fraying. The face of the marine fabric features an attractive matte, woven look.
Hydrofend coated fabric is resistant to cold crack and does not collect mold or mildew. This allows powerful, long-lasting protection in any weather. Lightweight and functional, the boat cover fabric can be cleaned easily, even with bleach. It stores, packs, and tows nicely without damage.
