Hydrofend cover fabric gives you up to six times better water resistance than uncoated fabrics. The marine fabric is engineered for superior hydros and breathability. To ensure lasting color and durability, Hydrofend is made from solution-dyed polyester.

Hydrofend® Care & Cleaning

One of the best things about Hydrofend® is its excellent cleanability. Just use mild soap and water with a soft bristle brush and finish off with a rinse. Regular care and cleaning of Hydrofend is not only easy, it helps to maintain the life of the fabric.

General Cleaning:

• Brush off loose dirt

• Prepare a solution of 2 ounces mild soap (e.g. Woolite or Dawn dishwashing liquid) and 1 gallon lukewarm water

• Use a soft bristle brush to clean

• Rinse thoroughly with cold water

• Air dry

Deep Cleaning for Tough Stains:

• Prepare a solution of 1 cup bleach and 1 gallon water.

• Lightly spray the solution on the non-coated side. Be careful not to soak the fabric as overexposure to harsh chemicals may damage the fabric’s coating. Do not leave on longer than 2 minutes.

• Rinse immediately and thoroughly, then air dry.

• Note: After using bleach or other harsh cleaners, Hydrofend may require a retreatment to restore its water repellency. We recommend using 303® Fabric Guard™.

Don't Worry - You're under warranty:

This limited warranty covers the fabric becoming unserviceable because of loss of color or strength from normal usage and exposure conditions, including sunlight, mildew and atmospheric chemicals.

This limited warranty coverage runs for 3 years* from the date of original installation. Consumer is responsible for normal care and cleaning of the fabric. The liability of CFR Patio or its affiliates is expressly limited to this warranty.
