Hydrofend outperforms uncoated fabrics with up to six times greater water repellency while still retaining breathability. The marine fabric is made with solution-dyed polyester for outdoor performance and color retention. Built to tackle demanding applications, Hydrofend has a high break strength, tear strength, and double rub count. The unique solvent coating on the underside of the boat fabric blocks moisture, protects surfaces from abrasion, and prevents fraying. The face of the marine fabric features an attractive matte, woven look.
Hydrofend coated fabric is resistant to cold crack and does not attract mold or mildew. This allows effective, long-lasting protection in any type of weather. Lightweight and functional, the boat cover fabric can be cleaned easily, even with bleach. It stores, packs, and tows nicely without damage.
