Authentic 1956 Brown Jordan Kantan Ottoman
Originally designed in 1956 by renowned Japanese designer Tadao Inouye, the Brown Jordan Kantan collection introduced a minimalist outdoor furniture concept that remains one of the brand’s most recognizable design achievements. Kantan is celebrated for its clean proportions, lightweight appearance, and enduring balance between function and simplicity.
This ottoman features a lightweight aluminum frame paired with woven vinyl lace seating, designed to complement Kantan lounge chairs and seating groups while preserving the collection’s refined visual character. The frame remains structurally sound and is offered as a custom restoration opportunity through CFR Patio’s factory. Professional powder coat refinishing and new vinyl lace installation are available in your selected colors to restore both appearance and function while maintaining the integrity of the original design.
